We met at Tomorrowland in the summer of 2018. After saying goodbye, we managed one more visit in Brussels before heading back to opposite sides of the world. The music may have stopped, but the texts and late night phone calls never ended.

The Surprise
A few months later, Josh booked a flight to California to surprise Eileen for a friend's birthday weekend. Everything about this trip confirmed our feelings for each other and the simple fact, this was worth the distance.

As our love flourished, so did the looming inevitability of finality. We knew we needed to either take the next step, or let the stresses of long distance weather away at our relationship.

Ultimately, it was never a question, we knew we had to be together.

Fast forward a few years and you'll find us happily bouncing from aparment to apartment, trying new hobbies, and planning travels together. Tthere were Thanksgivings with the family, music festivals with friends, and the beginning of a yearly Renaissance Fair tradition we still haven't broken.

Even though it took 6 years to get married, it only took 6 months to know it was always meant to be.
